A true Charlton legend, no outfield player has ever played more matches for the Addicks than Keith Peacock, who has 591 appearances and 107 goals to his name. Since retiring as a player, Keith has had a successful coaching and managing career, starting at Columbus Ohio and Tampa Bay Rowides in the USA before returning closer to home to manage Gillingham for 7 years. Keith also worked at QPR and Maidstone, before returning home to Charlton Athletic FC, where he has worked ever since, apart from a brief spell at West Ham. There aren’t many roles Keith hasn’t taken up at Charlton – in his 43 years here, as well as a player, he has been Reserve/Assistant Manager, Associate Director, Caretaker Manager, First Team Football Advisor, Club Ambassador and Chairman of the Former Players’ Association.
Keith has supported CACT for a number of years and he was a key member of the 25th Anniversary Committee, organising the Legends United charity game and golf days, as well as assisting with the other events.
