Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) runs 12-week traineeships for 16 to 24-year-olds in Maidstone. The course combines classroom-based learning with work experience while also giving trainees the opportunity to gain the FA Level 1 in Coaching Football.
The next batch will start on Monday 5 March.
Participants can improve skills while also delivering coaching sessions locally alongside fully qualified CACT football courses. They will develop Maths and English skills and also receive health & safety and equality & diversity training.
Chris Axon, CACT’s Kent & East Sussex Traineeship Coordinator, says:
“The CACT Traineeships are a fantastic chance for young people to develop their skills in a variety of areas.”
“They provide participants with the opportunity to combine classroom and work-based learning as well as preparing them for the working world.”
