Are you a safeguarding champion?

Engage London want to train up young people in Bexley, aged 16-18, to become youth safeguarding champions to help make a change in how they can be kept safe from harm.

They are looking for young people to take on this important role, to give an insight into attitudes, wishes and feelings of children and young people living or being educated in local boroughs.

Working with the young people, Engage London want to develop the programmes, address myths, understand what safeguarding is and what’s included in this, help understand what works in the communities to keep others safe, and importantly how young people can have a voice in things that affect them.

-       Are you interested?
-       Can you help building this programme?

You need to attend two half-day workshop sessions. The first is taking place on Saturday 15th October and the second will be on Saturday 22nd October 2016.
