No Smoking Day
Print or Email Article
Wednesday 10th March is National No Smoking Day and we wish the best of luck to all the Charlton fans who signed up to break free from smoking at last Saturdays game v Stockport County.
Report by Deb Browne

This was the 3rd  No Smoking Day  event held at the Valley on a match day and over 50 fans took a Carbon Monoxide reading with 15 signing up with  the clubs Kick the Habit! project to attend our seven week group which starts next month on 22nd April.

Big Cig was on hand throughout the day and took to the pitch before kick off giving out lapel stickers, base ball caps, and pens.

Health Mot’s were carried out from a mobile clinic in the west stand car park where 20 fans had a free health check prior to kick off.  Level 1 and 2 stop smoking  advisors were on hand at various points around the stadium to provide information about a range of health provisions available through the NHS Greenwich across the borough.
