Presidential Praise

During his three day state visit to the UK last week, President Zuma of South Africa, received a delegation at Wembley Stadium which included Trust CEO Jason Morgan, Mary Barry of British Airways and Inspector Richard Hynes of Southwark Police.
After meeting FA Chairman Lord Triesman and the 2018 England World Cup bid team, the delegation were invited to give the President a presentation on the ground breaking initiatives that have taken place in Johannesburg,Cape Town and Durban over the past seven years and he was full of praise for the achievements of the Trust and its partners in some of the most deprived areas of his country.
Trust CEO Jason Morgan said: "President Zuma was impressed with the programme delivered in South Africa by the UK partners and we invited him to see the inspirational work we are currently undertaking in Durban when we next visit at the end of March.
"We also extended an invitation to him to attend the official handover of the Cape Town project to our South African stakeholders in May. We are very hopeful he will be able to attend."
