Charlton Athletic come to Bromley

Charlton Athletic Community Trust, working in partnership with Mike Delaney’s Skills Academy, will be delivering Toddler Soccer and Holiday camps in Bromley Mytime facilities from July 2010.
It's official - Charlton Athletic are coming to Bromley from July 2010! Local young people will be able to emulate local footballer Grant Basey, who joined the Charlton Academy at just 9.

Grant now plays first team football for Charlton Athletic Football Club, as a result of quality coaching through the Charlton Athletic Community Trust. This opportunity which took Grant and others to first division football will now become available to Bromley’s young football hopefuls, through a new and unique partnership.
Charlton Athletic Community Trust, working in partnership with Mike Delaney’s Skills Academy, will be delivering Toddler Soccer and Holiday camps in Bromley Mytime facilities from July 2010.
The renowned ‘Charlton Challenge’, progressive coaching programme will be in sports and leisure centres across Bromley, including the Walnuts & Pavilion leisure centres, Darrick Wood the Priory and Langley Park sports centres, from September.
Charlton Athletic Community Trust has a successful track record of delivering quality football coaching programmes across Greenwich, Bexley and many areas of Kent.
Skills Academy Director and Head Coach Mike Delaney is a 'World Class' Football freestyler and has performed at World Cups, and has worked alongside top players like Messi, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo and Zidane.
The partnership creates a unique opportunity for players to progress through strong routes into an established well recognised Academy, whilst also having fun through structured activities.
