The film, which has been produced in memory of talented young actor Rob Knox who was tragically murdered in Sidcup in May 2008, stars top actor Ray Winstone, who knew Rob and his brother Jamie from their time together on the film ‘Arthur’.

‘Cold Kiss’ is a 15 minute film that focuses on the effects of violence on families, with Ray playing a father-of-one called ‘Robert’ whose daughter ‘Kelly’, played by actress Lexie Lambert, gets involved with a knife carrying boyfriend and a gang, featuring Jamie Knox

Rob’s father Colin, a member of the Charlton Athletic Community Trust’s ‘Street Violence Ruins Lives’ committee, is executive producer of the film created by producer Aaron Truss and director Nirpal Bhogal, both of Dustlight Films. Profits from the film will go towards the Rob Knox Memorial Fund .

Steve Sutherland said, ‘I feel privileged to have attended the Premier last night. It was an extremely thought-provoking and emotional experience for the whole audience and the film sends out a strong message that carrying knives really does ruin lives.

"Colin, Sally and Jamie Knox are inspirational people who work tirelessly to educate young people of the dangers of carrying knives and I very much hope ‘Cold Kiss’ receives the wider audience it warrants and deserves."
